Brief Report on the Visit of Revered General Secretary Maharaj to Sribhumi
Revered Srimat Swami Suviranandaji Maharaj, General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, visited Ramakrishna Mission, Sribhumi (Assam) on 7th & 8th November 2025.
A Guard of Honour with an 80-bike rally, carrying the Mission flag, and a band procession with devotional songs by students of Saraswati Vidya Niketan welcomed Revered Maharaj on arrival.
On 8th November, Revered Maharaj inaugurated the newly built Premananda Bhavan, which will serve primarily as a Vivekananda Computer Centre and Digital Resource Room for poor and needy students.
In the morning session, Revered Maharaj spoke on society’s growth and the need to overcome materialism through Swami Vivekananda’s teachings. In the evening session, held in the Main Shrine, He spoke on the practice of Vedanta in daily life, inspiring all present.
Several dignitaries, including Sri Kripanath Mallah (MP), Sri Kamalakshya Dey Purkayastha (MLA), Sri Kaushik Rai (Hon’ble Minister, Assam), and Sri Rabindra Chandra Deb (Chairman, Sribhumi) participated in the inaugural function.
The programme concluded with prayers, joy, and deep spiritual inspiration for all devotees.
