Saree Distribution to 2000 Needy Women Before Durga Puja

 

With the blessings of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda, Ramakrishna Mission, Sribhumi (Assam), continues its mission of serving the poor and needy through various humanitarian activities like food distribution, education aid, health camps, and disaster relief.

 

As part of our Durga Puja Seva, we are planning to distribute sarees to 2000 poor and distressed women in the region to help them celebrate the festival with dignity and joy.

 

Cost per saree: ₹400

 

Total amount required: ₹8,00,000 (Eight Lack Rupees only)

 

 

We humbly appeal to all devotees and generous-hearted individuals to come forward and donate for this noble cause.

With the blessings of the Holy Trio, Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, Sribhumi has been continuously serving devotees and the common masses through various spiritual, cultural, and service activities.

On the sacred occasions of Durga Puja, Kali Puja, the Jayantis of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda, as well as during Mantra Diksha, Youth Conventions, and other devotional programmes, thousands of devotees and members of the public are served prasad and meals at our Ashrama.

To meet the growing need and to ensure more hygienic, efficient, and well-organized arrangements for cooking and serving food to large gatherings, we have undertaken the “Brahmananda Annaseva Utsab Kitchen Project” — the construction of a new Utsab Kitchen at Brahmananda Bhawan with modern cooking facilities.

The estimated cost of this project is ₹15,00,000 (Rupees Fifteen Lakhs only).

We earnestly appeal to all devotees, well-wishers, to come forward and extend their generous support for this noble cause. Your contribution will directly help in serving countless devotees and the general public with devotion and care.

আগামী ১৬-ই মার্চ, ২০২৬ সোমবার, রামকৃষ্ণ মঠ ও মিশন, শ্রীভূমি-তে সাধুসেবার ব্যবস্থা করা হয়েছে।

রামকৃষ্ণ মিশন, শিলচরের মন্দির প্রতিষ্ঠা বার্ষিকী উপলক্ষে বিভিন্ন আশ্রম থেকে প্রায় ৮৫ জন সাধুর আগমন আশা করা হচ্ছে।  উনারা ১৬-ই মার্চ শিলচর আশ্রম থেকে রওনা হয়ে সকাল প্রায় ১০ টা নাগাদ শ্রীভূমি আশ্রমে উপস্থিত হবেন এবং দুপুরের প্রসাদ গ্রহণের পরে আবার শিলচর ফিরে যাবেন। এই সাধু সেবার জন্য দান(আর্থিক) করতে ইচ্ছুক ব্যক্তিগণকে আশ্রম অফিসে এসে দান করতে অনুরোধ জানানো হচ্ছে।

Brief History:

Established over 70 years ago, Ramakrishna Mission, Sribhumi has been continuously serving society through education, spiritual upliftment, and welfare activities. The students’ hostel has long been a vital support system for economically backward students.

The existing hostel building has now become old and inadequate. To continue and strengthen this service, it is proposed to construct a new three-storied building, comprising a students’ hostel, study hall, dining hall, and a cooking facility (also to be used during utsavs and spiritual programmes).

A majority of the resident students belong to SC, ST, and OBC communities and depend on the hostel for shelter, food, and a disciplined environment for education and character-building.

The estimated cost of the project is ₹2,05,00,000
(Rupees Two Crore Five Lakh only).
