I am pleased to share that Sri Krishnendu Paul, Hon’ble Minister of the Public Health Engineering Department, Government of Assam, visited Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Sribhumi on 22 June 2026 at 4:00 p.m.
Upon his arrival, the Hon’ble Minister offered his respectful tributes at the Holy Shrine and spent some time in prayerful contemplation. Thereafter, he visited various sections of the Math and Mission and was apprised of the educational, spiritual, cultural, medical, and welfare activities being conducted by the centre.
During his interaction with the monks, devotees, students, volunteers, and members of the public, Sri Paul expressed his appreciation for the dedicated services rendered by Ramakrishna Mission for the upliftment of society. He spoke on the relevance of the teachings and ideals of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda in promoting moral values, social harmony, and character-building among the younger generation.
The visit generated considerable curiosity and interest among the local public, many of whom gathered at the Mission premises on the occasion. The Hon’ble Minister conveyed his good wishes for the continued growth and development of the activities of the Math and Mission and appreciated its contribution to the welfare of the people of the region.
