We are glad to place at your holy feet the detailed report of the blessed visit of Revered Srimat Swami Girishanandaji Maharaj, Vice President, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, to Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, Sribhumi.
Revered Maharaj arrived at our Ashrama on 12 November 2025 at 11.00 a.m. Upon arrival, He offered Arghya at the shrines of Sri Sri Thakur, Sri Sri Maa, and Sri Sri Swamiji Maharaj. He was ceremoniously welcomed with conch blowing and Vedic chanting by the monks, brahmacharins, and assembled devotees.
Daily Darshan & Pranams
Every day after the evening vesper service, Revered Maharaj graciously accepted pranams from monks, brahmacharins, volunteers, and devotees.
Sweet prasada was distributed to all.
Each day, more than 300 devotees visited the Ashrama to have darshan of Revered Maharaj and receive His blessings. The atmosphere remained deeply devotional throughout His stay.
Mantra Diksha
Revered Maharaj graciously granted Mantra Diksha on
14, 16, 17, and 19 November 2025.
A total of 499 devotees received initiation over these four days.
After Diksha on each of the four days, the newly initiated devotees, along with their friends and family members, partook of cooked prasad. Volunteers also joined in offering their services and received prasad.
Approximately 300 persons took prasad each day during the Diksha period.
Public Discourse
On the evening of 17 November 2025, Revered Maharaj delivered a spiritually uplifting discourse on:
“The Essence of the Holy Name of Sri Ramakrishna and the Ideal Daily Life of a Householder.”
The discourse was deeply inspiring and left a lasting impression on the minds of all devotees.
Departure
Revered Srimat Swami Girishanandaji Maharaj departed from Sribhumi on the morning of 20 November 2025 for Silchar, Assam, amidst the respectful presence of monks, brahmacharins, volunteers, and devotees offering their pranams.
