Most Revered Maharaj arrived at our Ashrama on 5th May 2026 at around 11:00 a.m. A large number of devotees assembled at the Ashrama premises to receive his holy presence. Revered Maharaj was welcomed with the blowing of conch shells, Vedic chanting by monks and brahmacharins, and the offering of flowers by devotees. After arriving at the temple, Revered Maharaj offered Arghya and pranams to the Holy Trio. Thereafter, he graciously accepted pranams from monastic members, devotees, students, and admirers.
During his stay, devotees from different places came daily for darshan, blessings, and spiritual guidance. Every day, after the Mantra Diksha sessions and also after the evening Aratrikam, devotees offered pranams to Revered Maharaj. After the evening pranams, sweets were distributed as prasad among all the devotees present.
One of the principal features of the visit was the three-day Mantra Diksha programme conducted by Revered Maharaj. A total of 225 spiritual aspirants received Mantra Diksha from him. It was particularly inspiring to note the participation of many young spiritual aspirants, including four students of the Boys’ Hostel of the Ashrama.
To mark the holy presence of Revered Vice President Maharaj, a day-long “Japa Yajna” programme was organised on Sunday, 10th May 2026. The programme commenced with Vedic chanting by the monks and brahmacharins, followed by ceremonial lamp lighting by Revered Maharaj. Revered Maharaj delivered an inspiring discourse on the spirit and significance of Japa Yajna and spiritual practice.
Readings and discussions from Dharma Prasange, Sivananda Vani, Swami-Shishya-Samvad, and Mayer Katha were conducted by monks and brahmacharins. Devotional songs and bhajans were rendered throughout the day, creating a deeply spiritual atmosphere in the Ashrama.
Nearly 300 devotees participated in the Japa Yajna programme, while around 500 devotees and well-wishers partook of cooked prasad. During the three-day Diksha programme, more than 250 devotees also received prasad every day.
In the evening of the same day, Revered Vice President Maharaj delivered his benedictory address after Aratrikam, inspiring all present through his compassionate and uplifting words. Sweets were thereafter distributed among devotees as prasad.
On the morning of 12th May 2026, Revered Maharaj offered Arghya to the Holy Trio before departure and graciously blessed all devotees. A large number of devotees gathered to bid farewell and receive his final blessings. Revered Maharaj departed from the Ashrama at around 8:45 a.m. for Hailakandi.
